Canadian Labour Congress

The Canadian Labour Congress is the largest democratic and popular organization in Canada with over three million members. The Canadian Labour Congress brings together Canada's national and international unions, the provincial and territorial federations of labour and 137 district labour councils.

Hamilton and District Labour Council

The Labour Council is a Canadian Labour Congress Council chartered organization charged with the duties of dealing with matters concerning local government, municipal councils and local boards and commissions. The Labour Council provides the means to bring together local unions to enable labour to play a more significant role in the community.

Founded in 1985, the Council of Canadians is Canada’s largest citizens’ organization, with members and chapters across the country. We work to protect Canadian independence by promoting progressive policies on fair trade, clean water, energy security, public health care, and other issues of social and economic concern to Canadians.

The Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation

The Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation (OSSTF/FEESO) is a trade union representing almost 60,000 members.

The union works to protect its diverse membership which is represented in 140 bargaining units across the province.

OSSTF/FEESO bargaining units represent both English and French members in elementary and secondary school workplaces, private schools, consortia offering support services to school boards and universities.

Education Equality in Ontario is a non-governmental human rights organization and education advocacy group seeking the elimination of religious discrimination and duplication in the Ontario school system through the establishment of a single publicly-funded school system for each official language (English and French).
